The following formations were made by glacier and now the dirt deposited is eroding for interesting formations.

This tree was literally hanging on by one root.

So afternoon we went to the lighthouse at sodus point.

We climbed to the top the lighthouse and you're actually with the fresnel Lens

Usually you don't get this close to the lens

In the distance you can see the bluff where we were this morning.

This home was interesting and had a few that was outstanding.

Really nice being right on the saint Lawrence seaway

The view from the campground of the saint Lawrence is gorgeous

Tweety and frosty are taking a break.

A Canadian sailboat heading out the st. Lawrence and probably going south plus notice he's beating the little bass boat

The Clayton fire department was paying tribute to world war II vets. They took them fishing and we're going to have a party when they return.

Fireboat was going to be spraying water. We had a tour on a pontoon boat take us to bolt Island Castle so we couldn't stay to see it.

it was about 11 miles down the saint Lawrence seaway to the castle.

Mr. Bolt bought this island cold Hart Island and built this castle for his wife, however she passed away before it was completed.

This was the playhouse for his children.

Beautiful wooden boat there were many of them in the area.

The next few pictures are of the inside, it fell in disrepair after his wife passed away and the state of New York now has it and is redoing it

stained glass dome in the main entry stairway

His house boat which contains some antique boats but we were not able to see it this time.

September 28, 2019

We are now at Mystic Seaport. Our timing was perfect we hit the oyster festival. We sampled many oysters,
by the end of the day had eaten at least 18 on the half shell each.  We spent the entire day as you will see by the photos at the seaport Museum.

Mystic seaport is building an exact replica of the Mayflower.

below are many of the items that we saw at mystic seaport. This is the largest Marine museum well worth a stop.

On Broadway while we were waiting for the theater to open a police girl on her horse and by

It is always enjoyable to look at this skyline all of New York City from our campground liberty Marina and campground in Jersey City New Jersey.

the Colgate clock is said to be the largest clock in the world

We attended Wicked and it was very good Tuesday.

Bryant Park was very pretty

the Chrysler Building can be seen in the background and in the foreground is Central train station
you can see the Chrysler Building in the reflection and the window washers that are working their way down the building.
Merry-Go-Round at Bryant Park
Central Station Main room. In the ceiling they have the celestrial constellations.

Our third Broadway show was come from away. It was very funny and based on true story

We left New York area and travel to elk Neck State Park in Maryland. Fairly short trip but we went from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to Delaware to Maryland. The above two pictures are at Turkey point a lighthouse that sets a hundred feet above the Chesapeake and it's only 30 ft tall

Frosty is telling Tweety it is his turn to pull. Nice campground at elk Neck State Park full hookup

today we went down to Chesapeake City which is on the c&d canal which connects the Delaware River and the Chesapeake the following pictures are some of the scenes

we visited the naval academy at Annapolis and made our way down to the marina and deal where we used to have our boat.

we were supposed to go to Avon glass rally and Hatteras in the outer Banks but the road was washed out because of a northeastern that went by so we ended up staying at Oregon inlet.

the road was open to Hatteras usually once a day at low tide and then they had to redo the road at high tide every day. Cars will be lined up for miles to get across.

We left the outer Banks and traveled to Washington North Carolina. When we got there you can see we had lunch we were real hungry.

The campground at Washington was very much into Halloween decorations. Washington has a very nice area around the river and they decorate with crabs as you can see.

When we made it to Myrtle Beach we stayed and briarcliffe RV resort which at the back is on intercoastal waterway and you can see in one of the pictures a sailboat going by. Also, it's next to the shopping center eatery area and they had a merry-go-round and different items going on. We also had to go to one of the smorgasbords for seafood and ate way too much.

October 16th we took a walk to Myrtle Beach boardwalk.

On the way back from Myrtle Beach we stopped at Johnny D's they have a red velvet waffle.

This waffle was worth getting off of keto for day.
Recommend stopping here if you are in Myrtle Beach.

Today we had a tropical storm go through in the morning and gave us some rain and some wind but no big deal. The afternoon we went into St Augustine and found a few interesting items that we have never seen before and stop by Flagler college to get a tour at 10 a.m. tomorrow

Today we parked our car at the lighthouse and rode our bikes into town.
We have always loved St Augustine and the castle. We made a tour Flagler college. This was our  our fourth tour and one of the better ones.
Flagler was very interesting individual he started his career with Rockefeller in fostoria Ohio and was the brains behind Rockefeller and standard oil
